These are the documents needed for the formal admission and enrollment at Bielefeld University:

1. Admission Form
2. A copy of the acceptance letter of EDE-EM
3. A copy of diplomas (Bachelor and Master (in the original version or a legal copy))
4. A copy of the transcript of records
5. Health insurance documents (a foreign or a German one)
6. A copy of the passport including Visa
7. Admission letter from the supervisor/department
8. A letter from the supervisor stating that German skills are not needed during the PhD

1.-4. should be sent in advance via email to Mrs Rybak (Office of the Registrar). Originals or legal copies can be delivered after the arrival.
7. and 8. are issued by the EDE-EM coordination in Bielefeld, secretary of Professor Dawid, Mrs Diana Grieswald-Schulz.
