August 30: BiGSEM students at Lindau
BiGSEM/EBIM-students Sonja Brangewitz and Philip Möhlmeier have taken part in "The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings". Together with Volker Böhm, former chair of the BiGSEM, they met BiGSEM Alumnus Berno Büchel and two founders of the Bielefeld IMW, Prof. Reinhard Selten and Prof. Carl-Christian von Weizsäcker.
August 15: EBIM students at Sing7
BiGSEM/EBIM-students Sonja Brangewitz, Philip Möhlmeier, Jan-Philip Gamp and Oliver Claas have taken part in the SING7 in Paris. SING 7 was the seventh in the series of Spain-Italy-Netherlands Meetings on Game Theory, and the first one organized in France. Presentations will focus on new research directions in Game Theory. The meeting provides an avenue where new research collaborations can be forged.

July 11: Symposium - 10 years of BiGSEM
We are pleased to announce a symposium on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management. The ceremony will take place at the ZiF on December 6, 2011 and include talks of well-known speakers as well as an alumni meeting.
July 11: EBIM Workshop Bielefeld
The EBIM students of the Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management will host their Sixth Doctoral Workshop on Economic Theory on December 5-7, 2011 at Bielefeld University.

June 27: EBIM students at Lindau Meeting
BiGSEM/EBIM-students Sonja Brangewitz and Philip Möhlmeier are taking part in "The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings". The 4th Meeting in Economic Sciences will take place from August 23 - August 27, 2011 at Lindau/Germany. About 350 young economists will meet the Economics Laureates.
June 15: Prof. Mamoru Kaneko at BiGSEM
Prof. Mamoru Kaneko from the University of Tsukuba is visiting BiGSEM on July 4 2011. During his stay he will give a Mini Course on "Introduction to Epistemic Logic (EL) and Inductive Game Theory (IGT)"
