Curriculum
The program is designed for 3 years. BiGSEM students choose one of two study profiles:
It is possible to switch between profiles during the program, given that the corresponding required courses have been completed.
Course Program
The course program encompasses core courses, elective courses and participation in doctoral and research seminars. Core courses are mandatory, but full credit is given if students have already passed courses equivalent to the core courses during their previous studies. Elective courses should be chosen in consultation with the thesis advisor of a student. Elective courses may take various forms, including lectures, reading courses, mini-courses, seminars, etc. Students are required to attend the research seminars (mainly by outside speakers) and the doctoral seminar during each semester.
