Official Regulations
The central university doctoral degree regulations (Rahmenpromotionsordnung, RPO) express the institutional responsibility of Bielefeld University for all doctoral projects. These are the top priority regulations that have to be taken care of while performing a doctoral project at Bielefeld University.
The doctoral regulations (DR) of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics specify these rules with respect to the objectives of the department. This is the most relevant document for all BiGSEM doctoral students during their doctoral proceedings.
Due to regular changes of the DR, please make sure to take a look at the right version of these. Decisive for what version is relevant for you is the date of your official acceptance as a doctoral candidate.
The study regulations govern the doctoral study program Economics and Management at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and structures the doctoral course of studies within the framework of the Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management (BiGSEM).
